How safe are the mobility scooters?

They are a safe and practical mode of transport, However, it is very important that you choose a product that suits your weight and height. You should also make sure that before you actually start riding your Mobility scooter you understand and know the safety features of the scooter such as brakes, lights, indicators etc and how to use them.

Do I need a license to ride a mobility scooter?

At present, you do not require a license to ride a mobility scooter but you are advised to check with the local authorities as the rules and regulations vary from state to state.

Do all the products come with free delivery?

How often I need my Scooter serviced?

Goodlife Mobility recommends you to get your vehicle service at least once a year, this will safeguard the manufacturer warranty as well as your personal safety. How long is the warranty on my scooter?

Depending upon the make and model of the scooter you choose your scooter will have a warranty between 1 to 3 years. It is very important that you read our warranty terms and conditions before making the purchase.

How long do the batteries last?

If you look after them they should last you for as long as 2 years. There are multiple factors that can affect the life of the battery.

Here are a few tips that you can use to extend the life of your battery.

You must only use an original manufacturer supplied battery charger. The mobility scooter deep cycle batteries get a cyclic charge which is provided by an original charger. The generic charger ( car or bike charger etc) do not provide cyclic charge and therefore, damage the battery.

The batteries should not be left in a discharged state as it can permanently damage the battery.

The batteries will last longer if they are charged regularly so it is advised that after using the scooter you should put it on charge.

What is the difference between three and four-wheeled mobility scooter?

There is not a lot of difference between them, four-wheeled scooter provides little extra stability. The four-wheeled scooter is highly recommended for those who have problems maintaining the balance. If you are confident with your driving and balance three-wheeled scooters are the good choice as they can be maneuvered in narrow spaces.
